The Benefits of Working with National Fire Experts
Actionable Reports
We provide the most actionable origin and cause reports in the industry with an easy-to-read summary with the most crucial details adjusters need.
Actionable Reports
We know that many origin and cause investigations come back as “undetermined” or “unspecified,” but our clients need more. If the cause is undeterminable, we identify the following:
- The most plausible cause of the fire
- Other plausible causes
- Recommended actions regarding each plausible cause
- Entities to notify if the carrier determine that a joint examination of the evidence is required
- The status of the evidence
Evidence Management
Our fire investigators are trained to secure evidence onsite and properly collect fire evidence for third-party volatile combustible materials testing. Larger pieces of evidence, including appliances, may be recovered from the site by Loss Logistics*, whose associates are all trained in evidence handling, and transferred to one of Donan’s Component Testing Laboratory (CTL) locations for testing and storage.
*Donan’s Component Testing Laboratory (CTL) and Loss Logistics are part of the Alpine Intel suite of services.
Evidence Management
The chain of custody is preserved and documented through every step of the evidence management process, preventing evidence spoliation.
